I'm Andrea Nonamaker, and here's my story.

My love for food was born through my Aunt (Tita) Angie. I remember visiting her home multiple times a week when I was little. She would have some many wonderful filipino dishes ready for the family to enjoy. In the summer, I would stay at her house and she would only watch cooking channels. I wasn't allowed to change the channel and began committing things to memory and inadvertently helping my Tita cook in the kitchen. For example, she would be cooking pasta and the sauce wasn't quite thick enough, I told her that adding some pasta water into the sauce will help thicken it up from the starch of the pasta.

 

Watching the Food Network started to become fun for me and I started to cook dinners for my parents learning new skills and flavor combinations from Emeril Lagasse, Jacques Pepin and Julia Child.

 

Last year, I attended a veteran spouse retreat in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico that was life changing. At the end of my journey, I witnessed a Squirrel Cuckoo perched up in a tree in front of me, overlooking the ocean. It sat quietly for some time and eventually flew away. This was a sign that I needed to pursue my passion and to let go of my fears.

I also have a passion for volunteering for our Veterans and their spouses as they have sacrificed so much for our saftey and freedom. 

 

I have worked as a private chef for retreats and meal prepped for busy professionals since 2007.

 

Now, I live for food  and travel with my friends and family. My journey's help me find inspiring ways to introduce the world to delicious and healthy food to families and busy professionals.

 

I love to create custom menus reflecting the client's unique preferences and dietary needs.

 

I am proud to offer clients personalized services that allow them to preserve their irreplaceable time with family and friends.

 

I have such a wonderful job where I get to cook delicious food, build rewarding relationships, and improve the lives of others.

 

I am not just preparing meals. I am preserving families irreplaceable time with each other.
